The Indianapolis Colts, are the 2009 AFC Champions, and played in their second Super Bowl in four years in Super Bowl XLIV™ on February 7 from Sun Life Stadium in Miami, FL. Own the Moment from the Colts historic season that culminated in an appearance it the ultimate game. It has now been a quarter century since the team relocated to Indianapolis, where they have developed one of the great fan bases in the National Football League™. Now, Game-Used Super Bowl XLIV Sod is being made available through Stadium Associates from Sun Life Stadium™ – the actual sod on which this historic game is played. For the first time ever, fans and collectors will be able to own an encased, freeze-dried, preserved piece of the Colts blue and white end zone.
For historic reference, this will also be the first time a Super Bowl game was played on game worn sod; the same field used for the Pro Bowl which is being played the week before at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, FL.
Stadium Associates will be charging a reservation pre-order deposit of $50 per piece ordered after you confirm your purchase. This deposit will secure your piece of history and will be credited against your final invoice amount which will be charged to your credit card at the time of shipping.
