MLB Authenticated Collectible

This sod was removed after the 2009 World Series and was authenticated under the auspices of the MLB Authentication Program.   Each piece includes a card describing the collectible and a tamper-proof hologram that can be verified by its unique number at Phillies.com.   This card will come attached to the piece of sod and can easily be removed for framing and displaying with pride. 

Shipping Instructions

Your order will be harvested on a Wednesday and will arrive at your house on Friday so that you can be ready to transplant on the weekend.    Sod is not harvested in heavy rain.   First shipments will be sent early may and then weekly thereafter. 

Transplant, Care & Maintenance Guidelines

Readying your lawn is easy.  Pick the special spot for your piece and clear away any vegetation.  The piece of sod will be approximately 3/4 “ thick.  Be sure to mix the soil below the sod so that it is level and not compacted prior to transplanting.  When your sod arrives, simply remove it from the box and place it carefully in the spot prepared.  

Sod likes water - but not too much water.  After transplanting, be sure to give it a good soaking so the water seeps about an inch below the sod.   Then water as needed.   During dry spells, water every couple of days like you would with the rest of your lawn.  If rain, nature will take care of watering. 

Be sure to apply Citizens Bank Park™ Lawn Fertilizer as per the instructions on the bag.  This new product is available from Scotts® at your local home improvement centers.
